Therefore, quite simply, this book consists of the soul's outpouring of the revelations of Divine Love.

The book consists of two parts, (1) "Bouquet of Sacred Odes" and (2) "Canticle of Canticles" and is a compilation of songs around a wedding feast. The Bouquet of Sacred Odes is the presentation of the soul's dowry of song to the Beloved, and the Canticle of Canticles is the description of the love of the soul for the Beloved and of the Love of the Beloved for the soul.
