“All Money Is Legal” is an urban novel centered around a group of
teenage girls. Autumn, Mya, Isis and Laya who live by the motto:
“All Money Is Legal”.
Getting money by stealing, stripping
and flipping cars is a way of life for the all girls crew. The girls
eventually hook up with men involved in “the game” with major
consequences in their young lives.
The novel is set in both Detroit and
Baltimore . The story opens with a grim and tragic scene involving
the main character Autumn. It goes back to “1999”, where Autumn’s
love interest Ace and Laya’s brother Quick are introduced.
Misplaced loyalties, death and destruction follow them throughout
the book.
About the Author:
Kelli Stewart was
born and raised on the Westside of Detroit, Michigan. She learned to
read at the tender age of three. When most girls were playing dress up,
she was creating characters for her short stories. She attended Detroit
public schools and went on to attend Eastern Michigan University. It was
there she realized, college isn’t for everyone. Writing is her first
love and her debut novel entitled “All Money Is Legal” is sure to be a
hit. She currently resides in Ypsilanti, a suburb right outside of
Detroit.
